The 2023 all-wheel drive Kia Sportage Plug-in hybrid is available in one of two trims the X-Line and X-Line Prestige. The Sportage Plug in hybrid is powered by a 1.6L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that combined with two electric motors produce 177 horsepower. The engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Even base Kia models tend to be pretty well-equipped and the Sportage X-Line is no exception. Some surprising standard features are available on this vehicle. 19-inch alloy wheels come as standard equipment as do LED headlights and daytime running lights, power heated adjustable outside mirrors, a rear spoiler, body-colored door handles, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, Apple Carplay/Android Auto, Bluetooth connectivity, wireless device charging, a backup camera and steering wheel mounted audio and cruise controls. The X-Line Prestige features power folding side mirrors, LED fog lights, ventilated front seats, 8-way power front seats, sport pedals, memory settings for the driver seat and door mirrors, ambient lighting, an 8-speaker sound system, adaptive cruise control, a surround view camera, and a left and right blind spot view. Safety features are numerous on the Sportage Plug-in hybrid parking sensors, active lane departure, active blind spot, forward and rear collision mitigation, pedestrian prevention and a driver attention alert.
